Not really great for little, little ones
We visited here when our daughter was only a year or so old, and that was probably our mistake as new parents! It's not really the kind of place you can enjoy with super young children, because finding change rooms and things like that isn't easy. We didn't stick around for very long and would only go back when our children are a bit older, if at all. I'm not a big fan of crowds at the best of times, even pre-corona, so I don't really have all that much interest in heading back. If you're a big theme park fan though, you may very well love it!

USJ... just WOW!
The best theme park i've been so far! Especially because of the Harry Potter world, which I'm a fan of. One whole day is not enough to fully enjoy this wonderful place. It sparked the kid inside me. I love the rides as well as the souvenirs they offer at their shop. Recommended place to go with family and friends.

Amazing Theme Park!
The most amazing theme park in Japan, because of the wizarding world of Harry Potter Attraction. We have spent 2 hours in this attraction just looking around and it feels tooo surreal! I definitely will recommend this place for Harry Potter fans! Its too magical like you've been transported right where the Hogwarts School for Witch and Wizards are! There are also a lot of souvenirs to buy and this place is really eye candy!

Universal Studios Osaka
Even if you are not ready to go for the rides, you will still enjoy Universal Studios Japan in Osaka for the ambiance it offers. For children there are also simpler child friendly carousels. The theme park also offers many opportunities to take pictures with popular characters / mascots such as Snoopy, Hello Kitty and the puppets of Sesame Street. There are also various shows put on every day, including a night parade featuring illuminated floats that are paraded through the streets. Universal Studios also offers good places to enjoy your food and many restaurants have some interesting themes. No doubt Universal Studios is a beautiful summer holiday destination in Japan, especially if you have young kids but there is some advice that can save your time and make your visit more productive and worthy. It is a great idea to purchase the studio tickets before hand as you can buy them online as well. We had to queue up for quite some time which can get frustrating if you have only a day to spend in the area. Also, be careful while choosing the rides you want to experience and things you want to do beforehand. It becomes very handy if you do some online research before getting to the site so that you are well prepared.
