More than just a park
Cape Zanpa Park has lots of different attractions and is beside a beach too, Zanpa Beach. The park is home to the Zanpa lighthouse also reviewed below. But it has so much more, including playground equipment which is reportedly used mostly by locals. There is also an observation deck in the park, affording beautiful views of the coast. In addition, there are some statues including a Komainu lion statue. There is also some real animals in the park too - goats (in a pen)!

Lots of play equipment close to Zampa Beach and Lighthouse
If you're visiting Zampa Beach, Zampa Park is a nice addition to your visit. There's the Cape Zampa lighthouse where you can get some nice views out over the surrounding area (there's an admission fee to head up inside the lighthouse - 200yen/adults, 100yen/children), but for some free fun there's plenty of good play equipment and open grassy areas to enjoy.
