Zensaku Chaya

A must-visit in summer

Zensaku Chaya is a really atmospheric destination to visit during the summer months here, so if you're based in Niigata Prefecture or passing through then I'd highly recommend a visit. They specialize in tokoroten, a type of noodle dish served iced, and it's a really refreshing thing to consume on a hot day! They also have soft serve ice cream, cold ramune bottles, and retro candies, and the whole place just feels like a really wonderful step back in time. Go check it out!
