Cherry blossom park and riverside walk
Sakurazaka Park is a relatively new park in a sprawling residential area of Higashimatsuyama. It is quite a small park, but it leads to a nice walking course that runs along the Toki River. The park is best suited to families with small children. The playground equipment is most suited to children under six years old. But there is also a large open space where kids can kick around a ball or run around. That space also has a walking / running course around it, with the distance marked so that you can tally up how much you've walked. There is only a very small car park, with spaces for about six cars. But there is a community center nearby with more parking. There is a toilet with a diaper changing area. There are a couple of vending machines and some water drinking fountains.
