Prime location
Kasho Umon's best known shop is the one by the Time Bell Tower in the heart of the tourist district. This satellite shop opened in recent years and in a prime location - very near the ticket machines for Tobu Tojo line and for the JR Kawagoe line too. It sells sweets and is best known for its Imo-koi. Imo-koi is kind of like manju, but the outer shell is made from rice AND sweet potato. Right now they have the cutest little rabbit sweets, pictured, for 'tsukimi' which falls on September 17th this year (2024).
