Kamaite Yarou

Kimono rental shop with matchmaking strawberry candy!

Kamaite Yarou shop located beside Kawagoe Kumano Shrine. It is easy to spot as they have giant pandas outside dressed in kimono! I've never used it for kimono, but sometime in the last year or so I noticed that they have a cafe as well. The cafe sells food for "tabearuki", eating while walking. My 12 year old daughter was drawn to the candied strawberries and muscat grapes on a skewer and so she tried it. They are called "matchmaking strawberry candy" on the menu!
