Lovely high quality lacquerware in Kanazawa

With Kanazawa being known and revered for their lacquerware, it makes sense to stop here if you’re in the market for a gift for someone or even something for yourself. They have an impressive range of pieces on offer here, from more traditional things like bowls, bento boxes, and chopsticks, to things like iPhone cases with lacquerware designs. The staff here really take a keen interest in showing you the items in the store and explaining some of the history behind them. The business has been operating since the Edo period which gave us some scope for just how high quality the pieces are. I also thought the prices for the quality were reasonable too. There are more expensive pieces of course, but there were items even hovering around the 500-1000 yen mark for smaller things. If you’re looking for a unique souvenir from your time in Kanazawa then Nosaku has plenty to choose from.
