Avon is a small cake shop near the Nishitetsu Hanabatake Station. They had beautiful cakes, cookies, and sweet breads. But... the cream puffs! 境シュー is what they are called there, which I didn't totally understand. 'Border' shu- cream has crispy bits of sugar on top and inside is tons and tons of thick custard cream. As in I felt like if I wasn't careful it was going to get all over the place. They're also really affordable compared with the chain brands at 130 yen a piece with tax included. I'm guessing the rest of their treats are equally nice and am looking forward to an excuse to buy some for someone.
