Some of my American friends were the ones who introduced me to Moose Hills Burger, on a day out near Mt Fuji. They had been there before but it was my first occasion and they raved about the food here. Sometimes when people talk up a food place it can leave you disappointed, but Moose Hills was worth the praise. The exterior of the restaurant looks much like a log cabin that you’d expect to see in the US or Canada perhaps, complete with a moose with giant antlers as their logo. Inside you’ll be greeted with wood paneled walls that complete the experience. The food here though is legit. Avocado cheeseburgers, chili cheeseburgers, hot dogs, sides of fries, onion rings, pickles and fried chicken, and thickshakes - it’s every bit the American Burger experience in perhaps the unlikeliest of spots. They have an English menu as well which makes for easy ordering!
