Small But Better Service Than Others

I’m not a fan of government offices, so that might bias my rating here, but I thought this place was much better than Tachikawa, for example. The staff here seem better organized, or at least faster, with their work than other offices I have been to. As someone who lives in Japan, it’s probably best if you navigate the interactions at government offices in Japanese. Don’t expect English at all. With that expectation, things should go better than if you demanded English. That said, some staff do understand English, but will be unable to speak it. The level of hospitality varies greatly between the staff members at this office. At least there’s ample seating space for resting your stunned self after a barrage of Japanese.
