I don't get the hype
When Ago ga ochita, a "luxury bread specialty store", first opened near Hon-Kawagoe station there were queues there daily. And that went on for years. People would revel in being successful in getting some of the daily quota of the loaf of bread. But, as someone from a country where we eat bread regularly, I just don't get the hype. Moreover, while its nice, its nothing special in my opinion. I think over time people have come to that realization as there is rarely a queue there these days. I do get it sometimes, like once every two years, but only if I'm passing. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy some.
