Trendy spot for some Italian grub

Urvin Cafe and Dining are situated in Uonuma, and offer up a range of tasty Italian inspired dishes. There are various pasta dishes on the menu (there's a tomato based sauce with eggplant pasta dish that's really good!), plenty of rice dishes, salads - even burgers, which may not be "Italian" but look tasty nonetheless. The name Urvin for the store was coined from blending the words "urban" and "vintage" - and the interior of the cafe makes you feel that vibe! The decor is really trendy and makes me think of a funky warehouse - high ceilings with exposed beams, wooden accents, even a section with leather couch seating draped with blankets. The only real downside to me is that the venue allows smoking inside, and since it's all open plan that can mean that the smell wafts over. Food though is very tasty so the smoking is really the only thing taking a point off!
