Simple but hearty menu options

Kanade Shokudo is an eatery in the Chuo ward area of Niigata City, and the menu is fairly simple in terms of options, but they are filling. The pork soup with curry option is 1300 yen, and the soup in particular was really flavorful and something I'd definitely get again. They do have fairly limited opening days -- you can catch them from Wednesdays to Saturdays from 11.30am until 8pm. The restaurant is under 10 minutes by taxi from Niigata Station, it's a bit far to walk IMO.
