Located within central Sapporo is the Shiroi Koibito Park which is famous for the cookies of the same name which means "White Lovers". The outer garden is beautifully lit up and has free access. The inner factory tour is paid. The tour starts with a free Shiroi Koibito cookie and has you walk through the steps involved in the making of the cookies and their history. You can watch them make the cookies live through huge glass windows. At the end of the tour you can buy their products from the shops.
