Thank goodness for the Golden Arches

Look, judge all you will but sometimes when you’re driving somewhere with kids, and it’s encroaching on their meal time, grabbing some fast food is convenient. It’s also something I know my kids will eat with zero fuss. This particular McDonalds location is a freestanding store, not connected to a shopping mall or anything. Parking is available on site and was plentiful. Even though we visited right at their lunch rush time, the store was super clean - as someone who worked in fast food as a teenager I always want to give high fives all around when this is the case. Service was relatively quick when it came to getting food, everything was fresh. For a quick and easy option (and the obligatory happy meal toys keeping the kids happy) this was an oasis.
