    Gold Hot Spring

This is one of the two famous hot springs that can be found in Arima and it has a brownish orange color that might be off putting. This small onsen has two baths (42 degrees and 44 degrees) plus a regular clear water sento that's a little cooler. There are a lot of supposed health benefits to using this onsen. It's not so luxurious and they don't have as many amenities as bigger onsen. Be sure to bring your own towel or be prepared to buy a small one there. The tickets are sold from vending machines with limited English, but there were plenty of staff willing to help. They didn't seem to have a strict rule about tatoos as there are plenty of foriegn tourists, which is nice to know if you have any but love onsen. The baths are on the second floor but there is a ramp and an elevator. I don't remember perfectly but I believe there were no steps upstairs. The price is 800 yen if you go on weekends or holidays. There is a free foot bath outside of the building. There is a stamp in the lobby. As you can't take photos inside, that will be my only photo.
