Ricky Animal Cafe

Various unique animals in a well-kept setting

I know that animal cafes are often a contentious topic, but a good one in Niigata City is Ricky Animal Cafe. The staff members here are exceptionally caring towards the animals, and there are various species you can interact with -- owls, turtles/tortoises, and snakes are just some of them. I know that some people will probably say that any animal cafe is a bad animal cafe (and I can understand that mindset) but I guess it's the age old question...is it better to be safe and in captivity or have a life outside captivity but with more risks? The venue is fairly close to the Bandai Bridge area in Niigata City so it's quite accessible via public transport.
