Big-time Showa vibes

Paysanne is a restaurant in Nagaoka that honestly feels like a step back in time to the Showa era, and the menu is pretty much comfort food focused -- things like katsu, hamburger steak, curry rice, and the like. They do also have kids lunch sets if you're visiting with younger ones in your party. The value for money aspect is pretty good, too, with their daily set meal priced at only 800 yen. A small amount of parking is available directly out the front.
