Excellent onsen with tranquil garden

This onsen is deep in Minuma Ward, Saitama City. For those dependent on public transportation, there are buses that run from Nanasato and Omiya Station that carry you along urban and rural roads. Your patience is rewarded with an elegant landscaped garden with a pond visible from the dining hall. The onsen has both naturally and artificially heated water. The sodium-chloride hotspring water is laden with fine particulate which indicates how rich it is. I started in the nuruyu, the warm bath, and worked my way up to the atsuyu, the hot bath, and it left my skin silky soft and my muscles all relaxed. The outdoor baths look on yet another classic Japanese garden with water features and greenery. The atmosphere is soothing to match the thermal spring.
