Vibrant views and tasty seasonal eats in summer
I've reviewed Yamamotoyama Cafe before and raved about the views, but I think the summer months are worth revisiting for. The scenery surrounding the cafe is so vividly green right now, and they also have an incredible seasonal melon parfait where the ice cream literally gets put inside half a honeydew melon. Go check it out if you're a local or passing through!

Great views from this pleasant cafe
Yamamotoyama Cafe is a beautiful cafe in the Ojiya area of Niigata, and the views are as lovely as the food! They serve up a variety of main meals like colorful veggie filled curries and sandwiches, along with sweet dishes like cakes and ice cream. The cafe can get busy (I think it's a popular place because of the scenery, mainly!) so just keep that in mind.
