Furyu no Hajime kan

Furyu No Hajime Kan is an art gallery in Sukagawa City in Fukushima Prefecture. It became better known in August 2022 when they had a beautiful Japanese umbrella exhibition with light up at night. I had hoped that they would have the exhibition again this year, so I popped by this week. Unfortunately, they don't have that exhibition this year, but supposedly they host similar free events on occasion. Even though they don't have the umbrellas this year, I was glad I stop by because visually it is a very pretty building. Moreover it is free. Sukagawa City is a good spot for free sightseeing! There is no general parking for the gallery.
