If you want a taste of Yokosuka's burger culture, Tsunami Box is a great place to check out. They've got a ton of burger options, some of which are named after U.S. presidents, but they've also got Mexican food, curry, a bunch of hearty salads, and various sweets on offer. Burgers are pricier than a lot of other places, though, so keep that in mind.
