Last Stop Shopping for Niigata Souvenirs
If you’re heading to another prefecture or one of the international locations that Niigata’s airport caters to, then I highly recommend stopping into this shop. They very literally have everything that you could possibly want to gift to a friend, colleague, or relative. Of course saké plays a large part in the wares for sale, and there are two walls reserved for local breweries to offer their saké at several different sizes and price points, so it’s possible not to break the bank when selecting a souvenir or something for yourself after landing. The packaged for gifting boxes vary from traditional Japanese flavors, lots of miso, fu (chewy wheat flower mixed with water that absorbs just about any flavor it’s expose to), Murakami beef, as well as the mainstays of cookies, biscuits, and manju with all sorts of fillings. It’s a great place to bring a little bit of Niigata with you when you travel or to sneak yourself a little treat if you're in the area.
