Pine trees with legs
This park which has sprung up around Inage Sengen Shrine in a rolling landscape is designated as one of Japan's 100 pine tree locations. At one time, the pines were on the shore of Tokyo Bay, but land reclamation and residential areas have filled the nearly 3 kilometers from the beach to the park. Many of the park's trees have exposed roots and are referred to as "ne agari no matsu", pines lifted on their roots. There are public toilets and a community center on the north side of the park. The park is a five-minute walk from Keisei-Inage Station.
