Baby Star Ramen is a clever snack by a cleverly named company, 'Oyatsu'. Oyatsu literally means snacks. As the name of the product suggests "Baby Star Ramen", the snack is modelled on ramen. Its not really a crisp, but it is sold in the crisp area of most stores. Its like what instant noodles look and feel like before you add hot water. Apart from being a snack, some people sprinkle the snack on top of a salad to add a bit of color, texture and flavor. The Baby Star Ramen six pack is convenient for my big family (four kids)!

I don't particularly like the flavor of the chicken baby star ramen, so when I tried it on a salad it just ruined it! My biggest pet peeve with this product is that it makes an awful mess. Definitely not a snack to be given in the car! I actually would have never of bought it, except that my kids were introduced to it by friends, and they love it. So occasionally I buy it for them as a treat. While the six pack size is convenient for our family, the individual sizes of the snack are a bit too small and not satiating.
