How to get to Tokyo City Keiba Horseracing Track
In order to experience the excitement of the races at Tokyo Keiba, you have to know how to get there. So, I'll tell you how to get there from Haneda Airport.
When you arrive at Haneda, maybe you'll have some down time, during which you might wonder, "What should I do today? What's something that I can experience in Tokyo?" A possible answer might be, "Tokyo City Keiba."
From Haneda Airport, you can utilize the modern Tokyo Monorail, which has a wonderful view from the airport to the racetracks. On the monorail, which costs a mere 270 yen, you will travel for 22 minutes. During these 22 minutes, you will be able to view Tokyo from a perspective that tourists sometimes miss. The scenery is beautiful in itself, it's something that you won't regret seeing.
After traveling on the Tokyo Monorail for 22 minutes, you will get off at OiKeibajo-Mae Station. The station's main purpose is the arrival to the race tracks. As soon as you arrive, you will see the stables where the horses stay from the platform. When you exit the station, just follow the horse racing signs for about 8 minutes, and you'll arrive at the tracks in no time.
From here, you'll see the gates, and you can enter with just 100 yen. Even if you're not interested in the races themselves, you can wander around the location and eat food, see the horses, pet ponies, and see the night time illuminations all for just 100 yen. Even if you don't bet any money, you can still experience the horses and atmosphere up close. It would be enjoyable for sure, even just to walk around. The atmosphere is one of excitement and wonder.
Even if you don't come to see the races, enjoy your trip to Keiba! You won't regret it.
