Rose Cabbage Season
The rose cabbage which is also called ornamental cabbage or flowering cabbage is widely grown in Japan as a decorative plant, especially in cooler months when it thrives. Its peak season is from late December to February.
During this time, the colors of rose cabbage are most vibrant, making them a popular option for winter gardens and New Year decorations.
If you're visiting Japan in winter, you'll likely spot these beautiful plants in gardens and in many public parks.

@Ekimsaido I wondered why it looks familiar! It's a lovely place. Have you been to the Matsudo Museum at the edge of the park?
