The Two Ramen Spoons
At some ramen shops, you will find two types of spoons on the table. One is the usual spoon you would get and use to drink the soup, but some shops also have this stain-steel drainer spoon.
If you find it, it would be a shop serving tantanmen or Taiwan ramen, both include cooked minced meat. The spoon is used for you to net up the minced meat that are at the bottle of the soup so you can finish it without wasting the meat.
The problem is that the spoon is usually stain-less steel. If you are using your chopsticks to pick up the meat, that is all fine. However, if you are using it as a normal spoon, it doesn't make your lips feel too good.
