A 300 yen Variety Trading Card Pack. Worth it?

Fans of trading card games know how crazy expensive booster packs get. 165 yen for FIVE cards?

Even if you have a chance to get something very rare that can be resold for a lot of money, chances are that you would need to buy a lot until you get to that one.

This card shop had these variety packs at 300 yen for ONE HUNDRED cards, with at least 2 unpopular-yet-rare cards guarenteed.

I bought one to see what they would include.

Out of the 100, 95 of the cards were recent common cards.

In addition, they also included 5 rare cards, including 3 very cool English cards (that no one in Japan really wanted) and the two visible from the outside.

Ratio-wise, this is basically like buying booster packs, but price-wise, this was great, and for sure a cheap way to enjoy getting new cards without breaking your bank.
