Onion-infused Packaged Shio Ramen

Most packaged noodles are between 200-300 yen for a pack of two noodles, but there are even pricier things, such as this Sapporo Yellow Ramen being 500 yen for two noodles!

The name refers to how the noodles are extra golden because of the onion that is infused into the noodles. In fact, this is the first noodles I have tried that instruct you to re-use to water you cooked the noodles in for the soup, as it adds another layer of flavour.

The kani shio (crab and salt) soup base is great. Very flavourful for a shio based soup, although the crab part was lacking.

The noodles were certainly amazing. Chewy, bouncy, and did not get soggy. Is it worth the price tag? I would say so.
