The description
A metal bottle of peach-flavoured drink with chunks of peach-flavoured jelly floating around. Sweet, yet refreshing when consumed cool in warm weather or after exercise.
The good
I love anything peach-flavoured, so I jumped at the chance to pick this drink up at a vending machine I was passing by. It didn’t disappoint; the peach was very apparent. 15% juice content gave me confidence that it was at least someone organic as well. Perhaps it was a mental trick, but it made me feel that the drink wasn’t overbearingly sweet. There are floating chunks of peach in it too, as mentioned by some writing on the front of the bottle. The soft solids provided an interesting experience in consuming the beverage.
The not so good
Despite the fact that I like this drink, I can’t give it a 5 out of 5 exactly because of those chunks. They gave me an interesting experience, sure, but I didn’t feel like they were real fruit. Perhaps it was because they have been floating in the drink for a long time, but they were too soft for me to believe they were real chunks of peach. They seemed more akin to jelly, which is a much more common additive to drinks found in vending machines. There is also a minor taste issue with this product. Maybe I didn’t shake it well enough before drinking, but there was a strange taste as I neared the end of the drink.
