The description

A 900 mL carton of corn cream potage, advertised as including Hokkaido cream and real bits of corn. The carton has a resealable lid, so it is suitable for refrigerated storage.

The good

The best thing for me about this is that there are bits of real corn in it. Without the kernels, it would feel like a corn drink rather than a soup. That said, the soup itself is creamy and savoury. Another great thing about this is that it's easy to warm up. Either put it in a mug and microwave it for a couple of minutes or throw it in a saucepan and let it simmer a bit. By extension, it's easy to consume and a good way to get some nutrition in you at the end of a tiring day. The carton also has a convenient lid so you can keep it in the fridge safely.

The not so good

I think it’s common for a lot of liquids that are put into the microwave, but this soup puffs up if warmed up in the microwave for too long. It's dependent on the container used to warm it up, so you’ll still have to keep an eye on it if you choose to warm it up in the microwave instead of a saucepan. Another thing if you use the microwave is that it ends up with a curd on the surface. It isn't really bad, but it has a weird texture. There's milk involved in this product as well, so lactose intolerant buyers beware.
