A Day at Kaihimmakuhari
I recently experienced a long stretch of cherry blossoms in full bloom at Kaihimmakuhari. The park features a continuous line of cherry blossoms, and this time they were white instead of the usual pink.
It was a pleasant day spent with my ALT friends. Although we didn’t have a picnic under the cherry blossoms because park rules prohibit bringing outside food, we still enjoyed a walk through the area and took plenty of photos to remember the experience.
The day was a nice reminder of the simple pleasure of enjoying nature, and I’m glad I got to witness this quiet, beautiful moment with friends.

From Kemigawa to Inage to Makuhari there are some gorgeous parks and waterways that empty into Tokyo Bay. I recommend the neighbouring Hanamigawa Ward for the Hanamigawa walking/cycling path with parks and temples.
