The description

This product is a chestnut cornet, and it's a limited time offering available from Lawson convenience stores. It was priced at 160 yen including tax.

The good

The first thing I really liked about this product was the budget friendly price point. At only 160 yen including tax it's definitely one of the cheaper sweet treats on Lawson's shelves at the moment, so if you're looking for maximum cost effectiveness then this is a good one to pick! Taste-wise, it's delicious too. It contains two different fillings -- a chestnut flavored whipped cream, and then a chestnut cream with actual chunks of chestnut pieces. The contrasting yet complementary flavors and textures worked really well! Well worth trying, in my opinion!

The not so good

The top of this product is dusted with powdered sugar, and because of that it can be a little bit messy to eat on the go. I wouldn't recommend it if you were wearing a black suit at work, for instance! Overall though, this is such a tasty and reasonably priced dessert that feels like a perfect addition to Lawson's autumn baked goods lineup. I'm not sure how long it's set to be on store shelves for (maybe a couple of weeks?) so if it sounds good to you, head into your nearest Lawson sooner rather than later! Happy eating, and enjoy!
