I loved that these are a nice seasonal flavor -- I often associate citrus fruits with the colder months, so I felt that these were an appropriate release for this time of year. The taste was really good, and the mandarin orange filling was delicious. I thought that the value for money aspect was good, since you get 7 pieces in a bag for under 200 yen. It was also nice that they were individually wrapped, as it makes it easy to share them or just to save some for later. Overall I highly recommend these if you like fruit-flavored daifuku.

Although the convenience aspect of the individually wrapped daifuku is nice, it is quite a bit of single use plastic waste -- so not really that great from an environmental perspective. Other than that, I loved the flavor of these, and they're really nice as a bite-sized sweet treat during citrus season. The price was also great for what you get, in my opinion. I highly recommend checking at your local Lawson to see if they are available near you! I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did!
