If you love chocolately flavored drinks, I highly recommend this new frappe you can get at Family Mart. It's a collaboration with Godiva, and the drink feels wonderfully rich and indulgent. It's packed with chocolate chips that are small enough to drink through your straw, which adds a fun texture to the beverage. It's also cheaper than your average limited-time Starbucks frap, coming in at 430 yen. I felt this was pretty reasonable when you compare it to the high 600 yen mark that seasonal Starbucks drinks will set you back.

A minor gripe as it was still delicious to me, but the product does look a lot more chocolatey in the promo photos for the product than it did in real life. Again, not a huge deal as it was still super tasty, but more of an expectation management thing. Other than that, I highly recommend this to any chocolate lovers out there -- this was indulgent whilst still feeling refreshing, which was nice given the heat of summer is still with us. Pop into your nearest Family Mart to give it a try while it's available.
