The description

This product is the new "Spoon crush" overflowing berries cookies and cream ice cream from Haagen-Dazs. I got it from 7-11 and it was priced at 351 yen including tax.

The good

I feel like Haagen-Dazs as a company is really creative with the ice cream flavors they release, and this new "Spoon crush" type is no exception to that. This is one of two flavors in this limited time range, and it's great for anyone who loves the combo of chocolatey and fruity flavors. The base layer is a vanilla flavored ice cream dotted with chocolate cookie pieces, then it's topped with a berry sauce layer, and the whole thing is coated in a hard chocolate that you have to crack through (hence the "spoon crush" name!) to get to the rest of the product. I personally loved the mix of flavors and textures, and I definitely think if you enjoy that aspect too then you'll appreciate this. It is a pricier ice cream at 351 yen including tax, but I do think it feels quite gourmet for what you pay.

The not so good

As I mentioned above in the positive features section, this is a pricier ice cream at 351 yen including tax. If you're just after an ice cream fix and don't really care too much about flavors/textures, then there are absolutely cheaper options you can find at 7-11 or any other convenience store. Overall though, I feel like this is fun to try at least once if you enjoy textural, indulgent-tasting ice creams. I got this from 7-11 but I do believe it's probably being stocked at other convenience stores and supermarkets, too. Happy eating, and I hope you like it if you do end up giving it a try!
