The description

This product is a "big eggplant" bath bomb purchased from Lush Japan. It's inspired by the eggplant emoji, and is priced at 1800 yen. It's available both instore and online.

The good

I quite liked the aroma of this one -- it contains ho wood oil, tonka absolute, and litsea, so I felt like it was both earthy and zingy all at once. One of the more unique scents that Lush offers, in my opinion. The bath bomb is very big, too. You could easily cut it in half (or even thirds) to maximize your value for money, and still get a great bath from it. I went all in, which was in hindsight a bit of a waste of money -- but it was very indulgent feeling. I also think it's a good product if you need to gift someone with a laugh, given the connotations behind the eggplant emoji.

The not so good

THE EXPENSE! This is by far the most expensive bath bomb I've purchased from Lush. Yes, it made for a wonderfully indulgent, relaxing, scented bath. Yes, it was also 1800 yen that dissolved in front of my eyes. If I could make a recommendation, it would be to cut it up and get at least two, possibly three baths from it. Like the peach bath bomb from the same collection, this one also contains glitter which wasn't immediately evident when I purchased it -- I should have paid more attention. If you don't like glittery bath bombs, or want to save yourself the pain of having to intensively clean your tub, steer clear from this one.
