Character Snacks I missed out on as a kid

Is it just me, or do any other adults get tempted to buy kids snacks with cute characters on them?

Growing up I didn't really eat processed foods or sweet snacks and cereals in general. I definitely don't think the packaged snacks had picture book characters on them.

Sometimes I think this is a good thing. The characters entice kids (er...adults?) to want the snacks, but they aren't necessarily good for us.

I'm sure the above Moomin buttered rum black tea flavored chocolate is made for adults.

Japanese design is more appealing to me in general, but those sweet nostalgic picture book characters are not from Japan.

Maybe it's more normal for adults in Japan to like cute characters, but in western countries, it's seen as childish?
