Homemade renkon-chips!
Renkon or lotus roots are great for chips. I don't like eating them in other ways generally, but they are great when they are fried to crisp!
All you need is some flour to slice them up, cover them with flour and fry.
The frying part is tricky, because just a few extra seconds, they can go from a light color to a dark brown immediately.
But even if they are over fried, they are still super delicious!!!
Easy to make, super yummy, give it a try!
