Good variety of meals and kids options available

Don Dontei is a nice, family-friendly spot for a meal in Niigata's Konan ward, and I particularly like the kids meals here -- they come with a mini tendon, mini ramen, juice, and pudding cup for only 550 yen! The adult-sized katsudon is 1200 yen but the portion is big, so I think overall it's a good place if you're wanting a meal out that also offers value for money. They have plenty of other meal options too, including things like fried chicken, ramen, and Napolitan pasta.
