Hoshino Coffee Equia Kawagoe shop

Slightly quieter

There are about a dozen coffee shops in Kawagoe station, including two Starbucks. Hoshino isn't my first choice, but as I wanted a bit of peace and quiet, I chose there yesterday for coffee. Because it was a Saturday morning all the other cafes were really busy. Hoshino was too, and I did have to wait to be seated. But Hoshino makes you wait to be seated outside, whereas the other cafes don't. So you don't get that crowded / busy feeling inside the store. They have a separate take out counter too, which wasn't busy yesterday.
