Kashiwazaki Yumenomori Park

A delight for seasonal flowers

Kashiwazaki Yumenomori Park is a great spot for seasonal flowers during early spring, particularly the bounty of irises that fill the grounds. The park hosts an iris festival each year (the event for 2024 took place in May) and it's a great time to plan a trip here if you can manage it. Admission to the park is free, but there are specific opening hours (9:30-16:30) unlike some parks that are open 24/7. There's also free on-site parking for over 100 vehicles, so most of the time there's no issues with finding a space. The park is just under 15 minutes driving time from a few coastal locations like the Kashiwazaki Central Beach if you want to do some beachside strolling or water play.
