Matsumi Shokudo is a cozy-feeling restaurant in Nagano where you can get a variety of hearty, filling meals like katsudon and ramen. The majority of meals on offer are under the 1000 yen mark, too, which is pretty decent these days. They do take a break between their lunch and dinner sittings (from 2-5pm) and they are cash only, so keep that in mind if you plan on stopping by.
