Matsuya

Branch of the gyudon chain by Niigata Station

This branch of the Matsuya chain is located right by Niigata Station, so it's a convenient spot for a quick, cheap feed if you're in a hurry. It's not a particularly large store, though, so seating can sometimes be a bit of an issue at peak meal times. I think this place is particularly handy if you are in the area early in the morning and want a warm meal, since they are open from 5am onwards each day. Customer service has always been friendly on my visits, too, so no complaints there!
