Kids summer sandals that are just too constricting

The sandals themselves seem quite well constructed, and the footbed in particular appeared to be ultra comfortable -- it's a soft, foam type material which seems like it would shape to your child's foot. The price point was reasonable too (although I'd monitor the prices - Adidas stuff often goes on lightning deals on Amazon, so you could probably get them cheaper), and the fact that it comes in multiple colorways is also nice. I picked the classic black and white for my son (mainly for the sake of keeping them as clean-looking as possible!), but there was also a green and blue combo, and a pink and white combo.

Despite wanting to love these, I couldn't - since the front strap isn't velcro, it's not a great purchase if your kid doesn't have fairly thin feet. My son tried to put his foot into these and it was immediately clear that they weren't going to fit, despite definitely being long enough. It's also worth noting that these don't come in half sizes, which can be a real pain in the behind if your kiddo is running between sizes in the summer. I'd only recommend purchasing these if your child has really skinny feet, otherwise you're likely going to have to return them like I am!
