Snow and sakura
Along with enjoying flower combinations with sakura as BigFamJapan mentioned, one thing you can also often do in Niigata Prefecture is enjoy sakura with snow. Many places still have snow on the ground when the blossoms bloom, which makes for a nice "blending of the seasons" landscape.

I think it also looks visually pretty, too. The picture I shared above probably isn't the best example of it, but when you can actually get snow falling and landing on the sakura petals, it's really whimsical and beautiful. It's not just Niigata where it happens, either—I know there have been instances in Tokyo, even in recent years!
Do you ever get the combo of snow and sakura where you live in Japan?
