If you enjoy different flavors and textures mixed into your ice cream, this seasonal McFlurry option is a winner. It contains chunks of a fluffy sponge cake (the pancake portion), along with a mixed berry sauce that uses raspberry puree with strawberry, blueberry, and cranberry pulp. Combined with the tasty vanilla soft serve, I thought it was a really great mix of flavors -- and it does taste quite like an ice cream topped pancake when you grab a spoonful of everything at once! Like the McFizz drink, the McFlurry cup is also adorned with prints of hibiscus flowers, so it adds to that tropical feeling.

While I wouldn't call it exorbitant for what you get, I do think that if you're craving an ice cream there are much cheaper options at convenience stores. If price is the deciding factor I think heading into a conbini gives much better value for money. Also, if you're not too enthusiastic about different textures in your ice cream, I'd steer clear of this. After a while the sponge cake gets a bit soggy, so I recommend eating those parts first unless you're not fussed by the soggy texture. Other than that, I enjoyed it and would recommend it if you like ice creams with mix ins!
