As someone who considers themselves a bit of a yogurt connoisseur (I basically have some form of yogurt every single day), I was interested by these Meiji Bisu drinking yogurts I saw at Aeon recently. It contains both yogurt and vinegar (interesting combo, I thought), but somehow the fruity flavored vinegar actually works quite well. I think the price of these (171 yen including tax) wasn't too bad, especially considering that they are quite filling drinks. Fun to try if you're looking for something different.

I think the idea of vinegar and yogurt might be enough to put some people off this before they even try it -- I have to admit that even I was skeptical, but I'm glad my curiosity had me try it because I was pleasantly surprised. I would say this is worth trying if you like tart yogurt flavors or already enjoy pomegranate. I wouldn't say that it would be my first pick for a drinkable yogurt flavor, and I don't know that I would reach for it again at the supermarket, but it did surprise me that it was better than I expected!
