The description

This product is a milk cream and condensed milk filled dorayaki from Lawson's Uchi Cafe, in collaboration with the Milk Craft Cream Cafe chain. It's priced at 200 yen including tax.

The good

First of all, I thought the filling ratio was much better with this product in the collaboration than the other product I tried (the custard cream/whipped cream filled bread - review here: https://www.city-cost.com/blogs/genkidesu/z1vdD-foods_product). The chewier consistency of the dorayaki worked better with the fillings than the bread did, in my opinion. As is the case with many Japanese sweets, I liked that it wasn't too sweet. The whipped milk cream paired well with the condensed milk, and it all came together nicely. It also presents quite nicely - it's easy to cut and share with someone else, and unlike some desserts it didn't squish into an unappetizing mess when I chopped it in half.

The not so good

I think the value for money aspect was just okay. I wouldn't say I felt disappointed by the price, but I do think there are cheaper options out there that have more substance to them - so if you're trying to get maximum value you may not be too enthused about this one. Even though the ratio was better on this product than the custard cream/whipped cream filled bread that I reviewed previously, I still think it's a lot of cream. I actually think I would have liked it more if there was less cream, but I guess that's the central feature of the whole collaboration. I'd still give it four out of five, as the flavor was good. Would I go out of my way to buy it again, though? Probably not.
